Our professional Brazilian smoothing treatment reduces frizz, enhances natural shine, and leaves hair feeling soft, healthy, and deeply conditioned. A brilliant all-rounder if you want smoother hair without committing to full straightening.
Best for: Frizz-prone, wavy or thick hair that needs softening and shine, plus easier everyday styling.

BTX Smoothing Treatment Collagen-Rich Repair & Smoothing
Results last up to 5 months
A collagen-rich smoothing and repair treatment enriched with Keratin, Wheat Protein, Aloe Vera and Collagen. Designed to smooth, repair and deeply nourish the hair - without straightening it. A beautiful option for fine or damaged hair that needs softness and support rather than a structural change.
Best for: All hair types, especially fine, dry, damaged, or over-processed hair that needs smoothing plus repair.
Results: Softer, healthier, visibly nourished hair with improved shine and manageability - results last up to five months.

What's the difference between keratin, Brazilian Blowout, BTX, and a frizz-free treatment?
Each treatment works differently. A Keratin Treatment (Supreme Straight) delivers up to 90% straightening with a low 0.03% formaldehyde formula. A Brazilian Blowout smooths and reduces frizz without full straightening. The Frizz-Free Treatment is 0.0% formaldehyde and preserves your natural texture. BTX is a collagen-rich smoothing and repair treatment - ideal for fine or damaged hair. Your stylist will help you choose the right one during your consultation.
How long do hair smoothing treatments last?
Results depend on the treatment, your hair type, and how you care for it at home. Our BTX Smoothing Treatment lasts up to 5 months. Brazilian Blowout, Supreme Straight, and the Frizz-Free Treatment typically last between 3-5 months with the right homecare routine.
Are your smoothing treatments safe for coloured or damaged hair?
Yes. We choose the treatment based on your hair's condition - not the other way round. For damaged or fine hair, our BTX Smoothing Treatment adds repair alongside smoothing. For coloured hair, we'll protect your tone and integrity throughout. We'll never recommend a treatment that isn't right for your hair.
Do you offer formaldehyde-free hair smoothing treatments?
Yes. Our Frizz-Free Treatment is 0.0% formaldehyde - a gentle option for clients who want smoother, shinier, more manageable hair whilst preserving natural texture. Our Supreme Straight Keratin Treatment uses a low 0.03% formulation for stronger straightening results.
Will smoothing treatments make my hair completely straight?
Only if you want them to. Supreme Straight delivers up to 90% straightening. Brazilian Blowout, BTX, and the Frizz-Free Treatment soften and smooth the hair whilst preserving most of your natural texture. The choice is yours - we'll help you decide what suits your hair and lifestyle best.
Can I have a smoothing treatment if my hair is fine or damaged?
Absolutely - in fact, our BTX Smoothing Treatment is designed especially for fine and damaged hair. Enriched with Keratin, Wheat Protein, Aloe Vera and Collagen, it smooths and repairs at the same time. Available in our Dubai salon.
How soon can I wash my hair after a smoothing treatment?
Aftercare depends on the treatment. Some require 48-72 hours before washing or tying up, whilst others allow you to wash the same day. Your stylist will give you clear, tailored aftercare instructions before you leave.
How much do hair smoothing treatments cost at Tara Rose?
Our Frizz-Free Treatment starts from AED 885 (up to AED 1,450). Brazilian Blowout, Supreme Straight, and BTX Smoothing Treatment start from AED 1,085 (up to AED 1,600). Final pricing depends on hair length, thickness, and desired finish - and is always confirmed during your consultation.
Where can I get a hair smoothing treatment - Dubai or Abu Dhabi?
Most of our smoothing treatments - Brazilian Blowout, Supreme Straight, and the Frizz-Free Treatment - are available at both our Dubai and Abu Dhabi salons. The BTX Smoothing Treatment is currently available in Dubai only.
