The evening began and the excitement was palpable. Our team had been nominated for 11 awards.
Every year, spas, salons and barbershops across the GCC enter the Professional Beauty Awards and the best of the best are showcased at the premier event of the year: the annual awards gala. It’s basically the hair and beauty world’s equivalent of the Oscars.
The Tara Rose team showed up in style, dressed to the nines, and we were a force to be reckoned with, well at least our enthusiastic cheering was. You see, our brand is built on the principle that when one of us wins, we all win.
We had plenty to cheer for after all–
Tegan, Jeida and Blossom were all nominated and finalists for the Colourist of the Year. Neeka was a finalist for Bridal Stylist of the Year.
Even Tara herself was a finalist for Salon Stylist of the Year. Daisy took on the panel for Manager of the Year and shared her amazing secrets behind what makes her a fabulous manager. Our head office team even took part of the action as we were finalists for Marketing Campaign of the Year. ALL of these ladies showed off their skills with the best of the region to earn these nominations and finalist appointments. Frankly, we couldn’t be more proud.
But, we must especially mention Olena, who was not only a finalist but won the coveted award for Salon Stylist of the Year.
The Tara Rose Team collectively went on to pick up two more awards: Hair Salon of the Year–Saadiyat Branch, and the one we perhaps hold the closest to our hearts: TEAM OF THE YEAR.
The night was far from over when the most anticipated category came at the end: Business Director of the Year. Tara had been nominated again after having won the award last year. We were all waiting to hear her name again this year, knowing how much passion she has and how much she has poured into each member of the team. And the winner was…
Whether participating in panels and trade events during the day, or holding our breath in anticipation of the awards announcements of the evening–we are truly humbled to have been selected to be part of this year’s Awards.
